... I am proud of my country, but I am not proud by any means to admit Bil Clinton is the leader of my country, not does he represent my political or personal views.
To explain why we are interfering in another country's civil war, to explain why we are attacking a sovereign nation, I have no explanation. If, and I say if, because I feel we can no longer believe the information that comes from our Executive Branch, you are killing innocent people in Kosovo, I cannot in any way condone and in fact I vehemently condemn such action. But also I emphasize innocent, a member of our congress has stated that the KLA are terrorists and not the kind of people we should be supporting ( That congressman actually served honorably in our military).
I can look to our own history, our own civil war where so many died, and even look at Sherman's march through the south, and know two things, sometimes countries' cannot settle their internal conflicts peaceably, and sometimes preserving a union or a country can be very complicated and can come at a horrible price for all parties. We in this country know this only too well.
Do not think that all Americans are behind this attack, because we are not. I have nothing against the Serbian people. Also do not think that all of us believe that Bill Clinton is doing this for humanity... I wish you well in your quest to retain your sovereignty, it will be difficult. Russia has forsaken theirs out of financial necessity, much like some say the American people have forsaken their integrity for the economy. I hope that the rumors of genocide are untrue, and also that your children and other non-combatants will be safe during this conflict.
