As the bombing and aggression rages out of (now) madness the Serbian people are more united then ever. Stop bombing. Start negotiating.

As a proud Serbian-American born in Croatia, I am out-raged what NATO, on its on, is doing to a sovereign, and rather small, proud Nation. The Serbs, American allies in the bloody World War II, do NOT deserve that, not even a thought for punishment. But, this is the 3rd time they are being punished, perhaps one time too many.

No-one cried “wolf” in August of 1995 when over 400,000 thousand Serbs were ethnically cleansed from their homes by Croations. In Bosnia, the Serbs, as did others, suffered enormously, then subsequently were suppressed with the Dayton accord agreement. The 3rd on-going punishment is an outrage and needs to be stopped immediately!

Every Nation big and small has its values as do the Serbs. SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC OR NOT, THE SERBIAN PEOPLE ARE DETERMINED TO DEFEND THE COUNTRY AND THE BORDERS. Kosovo is the Serbian Cradle just as Jerusalem is to the Israelis. Eventhough the Serbian people are being destroyed, they would NOT be forced into just “any” agreement. They are for a peaceful solution for the Kosovo crisis. Military might would NOT solve it, we all know that.

A few individuals in the Clinton administration with Albanians friends in the USA Senate and Congress privately encouraged the Albanians for their independence. All kinds of provocations, and subsequently war was started by the Albanians majority against the Serbian minority, the police and even Yugoslav army. NATO officials and the Clinton administration completely mis-judged the situation and miscalculated the consequences of their military action. As a result: More refugees. Who would not run away from bombs? More suffering for all, including Americans.

Now that the intervention by NATO is on to force the Serbian people to accept the unacceptable, we all must think the following: Perhaps the New Era, the New Century is coming and bringing the fact that “If you do NOT like something you would be forced into it anyway”. Then, we, the Citizens of this Planet had better watch out.
