Give peace a chance, you write in your home page. I agree with this sentence if the different belligerents agree to discuss the issues. The Milosevic Government must accept to discuss with the americans and the europeans because it is impossible to refuse to talk to your foes.

I hope that you don't think that the french are against the serbs. I myself, as a frenchman am not a simple-minded citoyen hating the serbian people. That is wrong. I think that it's time to discuss the issue of the Kosovo respecting the rights of both the ethnic albanians and the serbs. I understand that Kosovo is very important to the serbs but it doesn't mean that the army and the paramilitaries may act brutally against the albanian-speaking populations. In this context it is vital to talk to each others to find a reasonnable ground for peace.

I am against the destruction of Serbia and am aggrieved when I hear that civils have been killed by the bombs, that's why I think like many french that negotiations mu st start again as soon as possible. The cost of this war is enormous : thousands of refugees, hundreds of serbs killed by the bombs, billions of dollars of damages inflicted to your contry. It is high time to find a solution, the more because everyday the losses increase.
