As a mother of 2 children it makes me so sad to see what others are going thru in Kosovo. I live in America and feel very safe. I don't wish death on anyone. The NATO action in that area was not a surprise,,,nor was it done at the last minute. The leadership in that area has failed the people there. Who stood up for those people when the threats started occurring? Who refused to sign a peace treaty? Who has turned their back on the people suffering in that area? There are people from the USA who are right now trying to get aid and supplies to that area.

I don't make any money or profit off of killing machines,,how dare anyone tell me that I am part of a country that wages war to make money. That is an ignorant statement that cannot be backed up with any fact. Our economy is strong and has been strong,,,long before this conflict and it will be strong after this conflict. We are not a desparate nation looking for pennies. You don't even know what money amount you are talking about. Of course it makes total sense to blame the government of the other side, that is natural. When you are in the middle of the crisis,,, you also have a limited view. Letters and accounts from that area even admit that people sometimes cannot contact each other. How can people there pretend to know 'everything' No one knows everything. No government is clearly right or clearly wrong,,,but I tell you one thing.

If anyone every threatened the USA,,,our government and leaders would stand up for us. We would not need the world to come in and help us. We could take care of it ourselves. We have had a civil war in our history,, if you know any American history. We took care of it ourselves. The leadership in Kosovo is poor,,,face it. The entire world can see it. I have my allegiance that is true. I also care about the future of the world. We were once a poor struggling country too,,not too long ago. No one handed the USA anything. How come we were able to prosper like we have? Maybe we are doing something right? Maybe freedom is better than communism.

No,,there are too many people in the world who let their PRIDE stand in the way of admitting mistakes. They would rather die than have their PRIDE wounded. They would rather sacrifice their childrend than have their PRIDE hurt. How many times in those letters do I read about 'we are a PROUD people'. Great,,your PRIDE contributes to the deaths you are seeing. It's a stupid reason to die. Its a stupid reason to have your children killed. There have been many chances for peace in that area. There is no proof that the government there wants peace. Now everyone is crying about how bad NATO is. Where were you people when there were chances to avert this? Go ahead and be anti-West while your children die. It's so futile. Someone somewhere has got to get some sense!

I wish for this to come to an end very soon. No one I know enjoys this situation, despite the sickening lies you may have heard. There are dishonest people all over the world,,not just in the US. Where are your leaders? They are responsible.
