Please believe that my heart is with you, and I wish magic possible to remove the horrors of your circumstances. I have thought of much to say, but everything I have written seems inadequate, and I have erased it.

As in any country, its citizens are workers trying to feed their families and to exist in their communities. What is seen in the news reports is not what all citizens believe. I have traveled to only a few countries outside of the United States, but have learned much: city people are city people; country people are country people, and any person has the same needs, wants, and hopes, regardless of which country they live in.
